The Bambu Lab AMS is an intelligent Automatic Material System designed to simplify filament management and enable advanced multi-color 3D printing. By automatically switching between multiple filaments during the print process, the AMS eliminates manual filament changes and significantly improves workflow efficiency.
The system can hold up to four filament spools and manages them through an automated feeding and switching mechanism. Multiple AMS units can also be connected together to support even more colors and materials in a single print job.
Built with integrated humidity control and filament detection, the AMS helps maintain filament quality while ensuring smooth and reliable extrusion throughout the printing process.
