Bambu Lab PLA Basic is the go-to filament for everyday 3D printing. It prints cleanly straight out of the box with no special tuning, gives a smooth surface finish, and comes in 30 shades that stay consistent from one roll to the next — so a replacement spool matches the one you finished.

Spool or Refill – which should I buy?

Filament with spool is ready to load. Refill is the same filament without the spool – cheaper and less plastic waste, but it must be fitted onto a Bambu Reusable Spool before printing.

Printing tips

• Dry the filament before use for the best finish, and store it in a dry place afterwards.
• Print in a well-ventilated room or use an air filter/exhaust.
• Store rolls in a cool, dark, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.

Safety

• Not food-grade – do not use printed parts for food storage or food contact.
• Keep filament and small broken pieces away from babies, children and pets.
